Bicycle racks are located at Block 1, 2 and 3. Bicycle racks are out of bounds to all children except upon arrival or departure from school.
While scooters at school are discouraged, it is strongly recommended that bicycles and scooters are locked to the bicycle rack during school hours. Bicycles and scooters are not to be ridden in the school grounds. Children must wear an approved safety helmet when riding to and from school.
Skateboards, Ebikes and Escooters are not permitted. Dogs are also not permitted within school grounds.
Car park access
Our administration team is always focussed on ensuring our children are kept safe. Over a period of time there have been a number of cars entering through our gates, thus putting at risk the safety of children. Please be advised that the internal carpark is for Bellevue Park State School staff only.
Parents are asked to use the external parking provided and walk into the school via the pedestrian entry gate when requiring access to the school.
Please be reminded that at no time are pedestrians to walk through the carpark for any reasons. There is a designated pedestrian footpath that runs around the edge of the carpark for pedestrian use.
The entrance from Devco Place is a Service Entry only.
Road safety
At school we’ve been reminding all children about the safest way to cross the road before and after school e.g. waiting to cross at the crossing with the assistance of the crossing supervisors or at the lights. We’ve been stressing that they should not run across the road when the lights and crossing supervisors are nearby.
Could you please assist us by reminding your sons and daughters about safe ways to cross the road; and by role modelling what they should do whenever possible.
Thank you for helping us to ensure the well-being and safety of our children.
